Chief People Officer

Matt leads our organisation-wide People and Health and Safety strategies, and the People function including the HR, Industrial and Employment Relations, Health and Safety, Organisational Development and Payroll teams. 

Matt joined Silver Fern Farms in 2018 as Group Head of People and Capability. Previously, Matt has held Senior Leadership roles in both the people and business development space including at Otago Polytechnic and as a project manager and change management consultant with Ernst & Young both in NZ and Australia. 

Matt holds a Chartered Fellowship with HRNZ and a Bachelor of Management Studies (HR & Strategy) (Hons) from the University of Waikato, and a Graduate Certificate in Mata Ao Māori.
