It is crucial that Silver Fern Farms has confidence in all our vendors to conduct business in a responsible way and avoid contributing to negative impacts on people or the environment. We can support this through the positive and collaborative vendor relationships we maintain and through our procurement decisions.

Vendor Code of Conduct

Our Vendor Code of Conduct lays out both minimum expectations in accordance with international standards, as well as the best practices we expect our vendors to work towards. The intention of this Code is to set a clear baseline for how we expect our vendors to conduct their business.  

We expect our vendors to adhere to the following principles:

1. To deliver positive outcomes to our customers, shareholders, farmers, employees, communities and the environment.  

2. Implement and meet the minimum expectations of our Vendor Code of Conduct in their own business and encourage best practice standards within their own supply chain.

3. To complete any vendor compliance requirements at the required frequency. 

4. To respect our commitment to sustainability and help us have a positive impact on our natural world.
