Ingredients

  • 1 small red onion, finely diced 
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups thinly sliced red cabbage
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced 
  • 2 Tbsp cider vinegar
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

Heat the olive oil and sauté the red onion in a saucepan.

Add red cabbage, apple, and cider vinegar. Season with salt and pepper, cover and cook gently for 10 minutes.
