Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Silver Fern Farms Venison Stir-Fry
  • 3 small capsicum, deseeded and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • 2 Tbsp rice bran oil
  • 2 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • Sliced tomatoes and avocado
  • Salad greens
  • Sour cream

Mexican Seasoning

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp ground cumin
  • 1  tsp chilli powder
  • 2  tsp garlic powder
  • 1  tsp brown sugar
  • 1  tsp salt
  • 1  tsp freshly ground black pepper

Method

Combine all Mexican seasoning ingredients. Mix with the venison, capsicum and onion.

Preheat oil in a heavy-based frying pan. Stir-fry the venison mix over a high heat for 2-3 minutes, until the meat is browned all over. Stir in the chilli sauce. Serve immediately and accompany with tortillas, sliced tomatoes, avocados, salad greens, and sour cream.
