- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp fine salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp poppy seeds or nigella seeds
Heat the vinegar, salt and sugar together over a low heat until dissolved. Cool, then add the onion. Toss in the liquid then rest for 10 mins. Drain and sprinkle with seeds to serve.
