Finalist, Premier Selection Awards 2015

Memories from travelling across India influenced Attila Kovac’s entry dish into the Silver Fern Farms Premier Selection Awards. He was fascinated by the fragrant, aromatic spices and herbs used in Indian cooking, and integrated these flavours into his dish.

The competition is the perfect opportunity to showcase locally produced, world class, quality lamb. This cut is amazingly tasty and also very easy and quick to cook to perfection.

Attila’s cooking philosophy is to serve diners with nothing but the best whole foods and local, seasonal ingredients. He loved the opportunity to create a dish using quality New Zealand lamb combined with memorable flavours from his travels.
