Join us in Dunedin on 15th August to celebrate our inaugural Plate to Pasture Farmer Conference and for the announcement of this year’s winner of our Plate to Pasture Award at the Gala Dinner.
The full-day programme, held at the Glenroy Auditorium, will bring plate and pasture together with a programme featuring inspirational speakers who will share industry insights; attendees will enjoy a unique food experience at Toitū Otago Settlers Museum which will celebrate our natural, grass-fed, red meat.
The conference and gala dinner are free to Silver Fern Farms Farmer Partners, flights and accommodation will be at your own cost.

8.00am - Registration and tea and coffee
8.30am – Conference programme begins, highlights to include
Steve Mo - Founder of Bester Foods China, will review China’s hotel and restaurant markets and share the Bester Foods story
Vangelis Vitalis - Deputy Secretary Trade and Economic at MFAT will update us on the international trade landscape and government support of the red meat industry
Michael McHugh- Mindfood magazine Editor-in-chief and owner will explore international food trends and the importance of digital story telling
Presentation of our regional Youth Scholarships

5.30pm - Conference closes
From 6.30pm - Plate to Pasture Gala Dinner - A unique food experience evening at Toitū Otago Settlers Museum to celebrate our natural, grass-fed, red meat.
